TV Plus is a TV and film production company based in Hanover, focusing on television series and documentaries. Among its most well-known productions is the weekly broadcast of BINGO! - Germany's first environmental lottery, which has been airing for nearly 30 years.
alphanull was commissioned to redesign and restructure the existing website, and to make it multilingual. The VisionSuite developed by alphanull was utilized, which includes a powerful CMS based on Payload and a frontend built with Astro.
Particular attention was given to the creation of the TV Plus Media Library, which serves as a testament to many productions over the past 30 years. A custom page layout and a unique CMS template were developed, allowing for the capture of production metadata and enriching the pages with links, galleries, and trailers.
This page also features a carefully executed scroll choreography with multiple synchronized trailers on the homepage, as well as elaborate page transitions and scroll animations - all while being efficient and high-performing - and the VisionPlayer is also back in action. Just typical alphanull!
